In addition to this, she was employed as a clerk at the Office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. She is a member of the State Bar of New York (2003) as well as the State Bar of Connecticut (2003). Asha has been a contributor to op-eds and opinion pieces in The New York Times The Wall Street Journal as well as The Washington Post among others as well as being a current legal writer to ABC News. Asha is also a board member of Just Security, and she's also a Council of Foreign Relations member.
