Morgan starred alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women that focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. The proceeds from the film went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives to combat the disease and presented testimony before the Congressional Special Committee about AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place in AIDS events. In addition, she hosted a AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline regarding AIDS. Morgan was nominated to win an Emmy for her special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan was co-starring in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring along with Joan Rivers. Summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan has also been featured in a psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the highest ratings ever.
